As the newest and most amenity-rich office buildings claim the highest amount of leasing activity, Piedmont Office Realty Trust is springing to renovate one of two landmark Midtown towers it owns: 999 Peachtree. The lobby, existing retail spaces and the plaza at the rear of the building will be 'extensively renovated,' according to a special administrative permit filed with the city earlier this year. Piedmont will not make changes to the floor area of the building or the public right-of-way surrounding the property.
